“Sarah Kerrigan, aka Starcraft’s Queen of Blades, is not a real person. Well, not a real thing. That being the case, this is as close as you’ll probably ever get to her.
Those who have been to, say, Blizzcon (or Blizzard’s HQ), may have seen this life-size statue before (it’s around two years old), but since many of you haven’t, here she is in all her glory.”

Along with Newton, the cast includes, Zach Levi (Chuck), Matthew Perry (Friends), Kris Kristofferson (Blade trilogy), Danny Trejo (Machete), Michael Dorn (Star Trek: The Next Generation), William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption), Felicia Day (The Guild, Dr. Horrible), and of course, Ron Perlman (Hellboy), will once again return as the narrator of the game. Felicia Day will play Veronica, a member of a group that those who played Fallout 3 will be familiar with: the Brotherhood of Steel, where she’s a sarcastic scribe.
Danny Trejo will voice Raul the Ghoul, a former gunslinger who now works as a mechanic…Another name that will be Star Trek regular Michael Dorn, who is reprising his role as the popular Fallout 2 character, Marcus the intellectual Supermutant. The always-popular Kristofferson will play Chief Hanlon, and tough old soldier at the end of his career.”
And if you needed more reasons to love this game…here’s a list of the top ten reasons this game will rule.
The Dashing Prince (Katamari Damacy Shot)
Ingredients:
(recipe makes 6 shots)
1 oz Blue Curacao
1/2 oz Grenadine
2 oz Vodka
2 oz Midori Melon Liqueur
2 oz Pineapple juice
1 oz Fresh lemon juice
6 Maraschino cherries with stemsDirections: Mix the Blue Curacao and grenadine and divide into the bottom of 6 shot glasses. Pour vodka, Midori, pineapple juice, and lemon juice in a shaker and shake to combine. Carefully layer the green on top of the purple, and garnish the edge of each shot glass with a maraschino cherry.
To take the shot remove the cherry from the edge and down it, and then eat the cherry afterwards. The result is a shot that’s sweet, quirky, and even a little fruity that’s best enjoyed with all your friends, just like Katamari Damacy.
Guaranteed not to roll up your insides once ingested!
(This shot is an ingenious idea and is the work of Mer M. Thanks for the submission!)

“With limited sound, simple graphics, and tiny amounts of computing power, the first games on home computers would hardly raise an eyebrow in the modern era of photorealism and surround sound. In a world of Quake, Half-Life and Halo, it is expected that a successful game must be loud, fast, and full of blazing life-like action.
But in the early 1980s, an entire industry rose over the telling of tales, the solving of intricate puzzles and the art of writing. Like living books, these games described fantastic worlds to their readers, and then invited them to live within them.
They were called “computer adventure games”, and they used the most powerful graphics processor in the world: the human mind.”
